Did you know of the Ferrari Controversy after the Malaysian Grand Prix? Full Report.

Whats up now:

For now, Mika Hakkinen is the World Champ for the Second year running for Team West McLaren Mercedes. Michael Schumacher will give him a tough time next year for the coveted F1 crown. Eddie Irvine moves over to the new Jaguar Ford Team in year 2000, teaming up with Briton Johnnie Herbert. Herbert's team-mate for 1999, Rubens Barichello joins Schumacher in Ferrari in 2000. Former Champ Damon Hill retired from F1 this year. Filling up for him in Jordan Honda is. But, in 1999, the greatest disappointment has to be Jacques Villeneuve, in BAR (British American Racing). The World Champ in '97 did not score a single point this year. BAR suffered engine failures, handling snags and other technical problems and finished only one race out of 16. As for the standard back-runners, Tohranosuke (Tohra) Takagi - the World's fastest Lawn-mower (bcoz he spends more time on the grass than on the asphalt!) sticks with Arrows for Y2K, with teammate Pedro de la Rosa. The new entrant into the F1 scene will be the German F3000 driver, Nick Heidfeld, who joins Prost Peugeot.
