The Rules and Regulations of Cricket

"Cricket is a funny game". Which fool said that??? It is actually a very systematic and logical game involving strategy and skill. You will find out what exactly I mean in the rules that follow:

Two teams compete in a match. One of the teams comes out to field and get the other team out. The other team, however, sends 2 batsmen out to make sure they don't get out and get a lot of runs. The rest of the team sits in. The other team goes in to try to get these 2 batsmen out. If the fileding team gets a batsman out, he goes in and another player comes out from inside. Thus, the game progresses till all the batsmen are out and sent in, or the team sent out to get the other team in bowls 50 overs. Then, the team which was out to get the batsmen in goes in and sends 2 of its own batsmen out. On the other hand, the team which was sending batsmen out to get a good total in, now comes out en bloc to try and send the opposition batsmen in. Now, the team which is sitting in has to make a score better than that made by the team which had earlier sent out batsmen to get a good total in. Thus, the game progresses once again till either the team which is now sitting in has all its batsmen out, or the team which is now out and trying to send the batsmen of the opposition in bowls 50 overs. Then, depending upon who had the higher score, the victor is decided.

This is basically how a One-Day Cricket Match is played between two teams. I sincerely hope you have understood these rules. Now, you tell me... is this not a scientific and logical game, which requires strategy and skill? Oh! yes. It is also very easy to understand... right!
